Introduction

My name is Rebecca. I am going to tell you a little about my interests, the literature I like and the goals I have for English class this year. I enjoy swimming. I am a competitive swimmer and I have been swimming for 8 years now. Although swimming is one of the most difficult sports out there I still enjoy it because I like the challenge. I also like doing art. I enjoy painting pictures because it allows me to escape from reality for a little while. It relieves all my stress. I have always been good at art and math at school and it has been my parents dream for me to become an architect. I however am still not sure what career I want to pursue but I have been thinking about studying interior design at university. Although I am not an avid reader I still enjoy reading biographies. I have recently read the biography of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Marie Curie. The goals I have for English class this year are to improve my essay writing skills and work on my public speaking.
